That looks very impressionistic. The contrast between the dark woods and the front lamp is nice. The foreground... well this's just my personal opinion, if you zoom in a little bit and pull the foreground up it might look nicer. Maybe it's just the big patch of golden that makes me feel uncomfortable. ah, what am i blabbering about...

haha i guess i'm right on my way into the misleading realm of modern painting. my techniques are hopeless. anyways, about the zooming. well i wasn't thinking too much about the composition.. i just thought it looked alright haha. maybe i should've thought more...and i think i grew out of calling that colour gold... i'll just call it yellow hahaha.
